After a string of rotten tomato-ed releases both at the movies and on streaming for the better part of 2022-2023, Marvel Studios might as well have been in its own endgame. By then, audiences had matured past the once-exciting, now-formulaic grandiose spectacles of multiversal proportions.
How then did we help fatigued audiences find a deeper purpose to yet another story about alternate timelines? For the second season premiere of Disney+’s marquee series, Marvel Studios’ Loki, we got everyone to see just how precious time is and made it count.
With the magic and mischief of our titular god, we made our followers…
face the hands of time,
make time for Loki,
save time for him,
network with the keeper of time,
snap out of their own social timelines and into ours…
and we even ticked time away, so they’d watch!
Now for our ultimate act of mischief, we actually sent fans back in time in a contest to bring our parted heroes back together and rescue the finale!
